Welcome Volunteers

For Chaos - Super great job directing and helping folks to our table in registration. We had a physical barrier so people couldn’t see us well. You were so kind to so many people! It didn’t go unnoticed. Also, you stayed past your shift end to continue helping. Very cool!

For Dragon - As a first time volunteer on the Atrium floor for night panels, I was unable to hear when checking in with my lead. I found Dragon and they were more than happy to help find my lead and get me orientated for the night. He was a massive help.

For Mama Yodaa - Mama Yoda is an amazing shift lead. She made working at the Westin Ballroom easy and fun. Thank you Mama Yoda!

For ZOMBERT - You rock!!

For Golden Retriever - Thank you for training me this morning and sharing your sunscreen. You were quick to answer any questions I had. I appreciate you!

For Kiayra - Kiayra was such a blessing to have on the team. She was willing to go anywhere and everywhere to help the team with no questions asked. She was a TREMENDOUS help in the front line of our major parties at the Hilton. I really enjoyed working with her and her husband this year. Thank you so much for your help, Kee-eye-rah! :)

For Bunny, Esq. - Thanks for reminding me to sign up!

For Empress Trisha - She was amazing with our attendees and took all their thoughts and questions in consideration and was over and beyond in her duties and she crushed it!

For Shaka - Shaka is AMAZING, stepping up for the WOF this year in a big way.

For Tchaikovsky - Tchai! I'm always messing up your name and so I just end up calling you "Chai" for short. Thank you so much for all of your hard work this year. It is always a pleasure working with you! Thank you for also always helping with the tape removal at the end of the convention. I love seeing the different things you come up with. I can't wait to work with you again next year! Thanks again!

For Traumahawk - Traumahawk! Thank you SO MUCH for EVERYTHING that you have taught me and shown me these past 5 years. I have learned so much from you and I am so grateful to have gotten to know you and your family as well! You are truly an irreplaceable asset to the team. I can't wait to work with you again next year!

For Jaster - Lifts you up, makes you feel as an integral part of the team. You feel they have faith and confidence in you

For Micronian - Thank you for teaching me about analog soundboards and sound tech stuff in general!

For Amazing Amanda - Amazing, Amazing, Amazing! You have been a rock, it has been great to see your smiling face when I get up to Peachtree and thanks for directing me around when I needed some guidance.

For Colonel - Colonel is solely responsible for bringing us into this. Can't wait for a fantastic adventure in Tech-Ops.

For Dave - I hope this Dave is "Dave's World", pretty sure I am getting it right. Dave made my first shift at Dragoncon awesome. He instilled confidence in me and my work, provided helpful reminders/tips, and always made sure we took a moment to sit down while we were thinking on next steps.

For Shepard - Being on top of all things DragonCon prior to the start of 2024's epic battle with the masses!

For Bass Clef - Bass Clef - you are such a rock star! Thank you for all of your hard work this year and every year! You are such a strong-willed individual that DOES NOT like to take breaks but will eventually take them when forced to go to Tech Ops to "return" something to only be put on a timer for a forced break. Thank you for all of your hard work. I can't wait to work with you again!

For Treble Clef - Treble Clef did such an AMAZING job, as always, this year! She is such a wonderful asset to have on the Hilton team. It was my first year as Second Shift Lead and she would always reassure me that I was doing a good job. She was 110% supporting me. Thank you for all of the hard work you put in each year, Treble. It is always a pleasure to work with you and Bass!
